Poll question: Who should be on the Democratic ticket in 2020? |
|
Edited on Mon Jul-12-04 04:04 PM by Paragon
That's after 16 years of Kerry and Edwards, of course. :D
(I'll add more suggestions to the poll as they come in)

In 2020, I will be 43, plenty old enough, and will be the first bald prez since I don't know when.

I'm petty and vindictive. I can't stand fascists or theocrats of any flavor or degree. I would be a holy terror. All for the good, of course. (wink wink)

For the Democrats, of course. ;-)

The FReepers have actually found us out - they know that it is our goal to bring Hillary Clinton and Janet Reno to positions of great power!

12. does anyone know if Chris Heinz is a Democrat? |
|
His father was Republican and his mother was Republican until a couple years ago. So, I'm wondering if he's a true Democrat or if he's only one right now to campaign for Kerry. Anyone know if he has been registered as a Dem his whole adult life or not? TIA. :)
PS, if he's a Dem, then I'll vote for a Chelsea/Chris ticket in 2020. :toast:

17. Times change, as do parties |
|
Had he lived, John Heinz would probably have had to change parties within a few years. He was among the most progressive Republicans around. He was pro-business, but thought that business should also bear political (social, economic, etc.) responsibility commensurate with its power.
There have been quite a few such Republicans in Pennsylvania; a lot of Richard Mellon Scaife's money has been spent of knocking them out of office, too. The Club for Growth is currently active in making trouble for Republicans in PA who don't toe the Bushovik line.
