U.S. Urges UN to Get Ready to Act on Sudan

The United States said Sudan's government has not done enough to end an unfolding humanitarian crisis in Dafur and urged the United Nations on Monday to be ready to act against Khartoum if it fails to stop Arab militia attacking African villagers in the remote region. Almost two weeks after Secretary of State Colin Powell flew to Sudan to demand the Sudanese government disarm the militia, Washington showed its impatience.

Why weren't we "urging" the UN to act on Iraq last March? Hmmm? A guess we're plum out of invaders this year...
