1. Once upon a time he was a movie critic... |
|
and not a bad one, either. At some point he morphed into a wingnut.

...Why not ask Ebert. He's a better critic and a hell of a lot smarter.
And he's not some phony morality freak like Medhead.
Let's face it - Medhead's a poor man's Ebert. At least PBS thought so back in the 80's.

I can't remember the last time I found one of his reviews actually insightful. He offers nothing of value to me.

6. He said F911 was exactly the same as The Clinton Chronicles |
|
you know, the one that said Clinton was a drug dealer and had murdered 20+ people?
Exactly the same...he said.
Norville should have laughed him off the screen. Problem is, if she has seen either of them, knew about them, she doesn't have the critical skills to evaluate them.
Sickening man with no credibility after that comment (if he had any before).

He said that the mainstream Republicans rightfully distanced themselves from The Clinton Chronicles because it was so far out. In fact, Jerry Falwell was the front man for this film and he's treated like some sort of elder statesman in the religious community. When he appears on these shows to spew his hate or blame 9-11 on abortion or gays or whatever, they don't introduce him as the religiously insane distributor and promoter of the The Clinton Chronicles. Secondly, he also tried to lie by underestimating the number of people who have seen it - using the figure of 5 or 6 million. When Norville questioned the amount of money the film has made with regard to viewership figures, he came back with some nonsense about the same people seeing the film as much as FIVE TIMES. What a disingenuous, slimey asshole.
He also, like Cokehead Roberts, predicts this film will hurt the Dems. Wishful thinking, I'm sure.
