I'm not particularly concerned that this is actually a possibility but the very idea of it being discussed prepares people for it and that is what has to be stopped.

4. Evan Bayh on CNN today brought up the 'interesting timing' of the alert-

not just once but a couple of times so it would sink in with listerners. He said he wasn't saying the terror alert was politically motivated (unh uh!) but that the timing of it coming right after the Edwards selection was 'interesting' timing and he seemed to smirk when he said that. I was surprised he had the guts to bring it up.
