Why are Bush's approval numbers going up?

The majority of respondents continue to say that the country is headed on the wrong track (48%), while 47% feel the US is on the right track. This response has virtually remained unchanged over the last three months.

media is doing all it can to make everything seem just hunky

and you shoulda seen the look on Fineman's face; a look of pure, smug, selfsatisfied relief, as if his man on a white horse blovia will now be forgotten in the Bush landslide he now envisions

we have accepted the torture, we have accepted American soldiers dying everyday for nothing, we have accepted the deaths of tens of thousands of Iraqi civilians, we have accepted that bush is a liar and waged an illegal war, we have accepted Cheney is a crooked thug, we have accepted that out of 250 million people bush is the best we can do for president, we have become complacent with terrorism, but the real reason is gas prices fell 10 cents a gallon and all the moran SUV drivers can fill up their tanks for under $50.00.

No one in this administration has to answer for anything, nor will they. No one is accountable.
