Is there anything Kerry doesn't do? |
|
OK, I lead a normal, middle class life with probably a lot more free time than John Kerry and I'm much younger and in pretty good shape but this guy runs circles around me in terms of abilities and pastimes. I'm not saying this in a negative way.
Just for the fun of it let's make a list of Kerry's hobbies/activities/abilities and we can throw in serious biographical stuff to if want (like Veteran).
I'll start with a couple:
Guitarist
Motorcycle rider

6. One thing I don't think I've seen is Kerry golfing. |

That has to count for something... he isn't a golfer!
*ducks* as DU golfers yell "fore" and aim for my head....

11. I concur - as a kid I loved golf but now it is getting a little |
|
too popular and snobish.
SO Kerry doesn't play golf and Bush does - might be something to that.

13. I can't believe nobody's mentioned he plays BASS! |
|

They're re-releasing some stuff he did with a band back in high school. There was an article about it in the SF Chronicle last week. Sorry no link. But add "musician" to the list.
Very impressive.
EDIT: Oops silly me you did mention Guitarist. Close enough. Gotta read the WHOLE post before jumping in, Taylor!

Well, uh, George Bush can, uhm, drink half a rack of cold, frosties before 9 a.m.! AND play a passable rendition of "Amazing Grace" on a humanatone.* So there.
*Also known as a nose flute. No, you don't want to know any more than that.

18. Bicyclist. And he seldom falls off. |
|
And he rides a built-for-him bike from Serotta, not some POS Huffy that Karl picked up at Sam's Club because he thought it was important that Dumbya be a cyclist too...

HAHA!! Just joking. OK, well...he did kill some human beings in Nam. But that's one more thing he's done that I haven't. Since we're listing all the things he's accomplished at.
