Googled "Bush postpones election" and
got a tech support forum. Techies are generally very nice and down to earth. They're regular guys who come across as moderate to conservative. Curious because I work in IT, I took a look at the forum. It felt like a breath of fesh air to read their posts:

#3. If the G cancels or "postpones" elections I doubt it will be terrorists that they will need to be afraid of...............

#9. Funny thing. When I first read about this my first thought was "Jesus, they could 'postpone' for another year." I am strictly opposed to ANY delay in the elections, regardless of what happens.

I love how they both put postpone in quotes. Lots more where this comes from:

1. Interesting...
THANKS! This issue of postponing the elections is being discussed on all sorts of boards, came across a discussion about it on a Soap Opera board. The people on there (at least 98%) of them totally believed that chimp wants this to happen just to give himself more time to gain in the polls, that he can't win any other way but through some scam. Sometimes people surprise me in a good way, being smarter that what I thought. :-)

2. It does ease my mind a little.
Most people don't have time to spend hours perusing the news, and may not be aware of alternative media sources. I think when people are finally allowed to see the unvarnished truth, they react with intelligence.
