I met "The Nuge" in 1990...sat in on a radio show where he discussed his bow hunting adventures (actually a very funny story). He claimed that he was a Liberatarian at the time, and I remember him continuing to say the same when he hosted his Detroit radio show.

Seems like the worm turned in 2000...the NRA attack on Gore/Democrats and somehow Mr. Amboy Dukes made the full leap to the dark side.

Watching that "Hannityfest" from New Jersey was a real hoot. A whopping 12,000 people to watch some washed up 55 year old rocker, some drunk Country has-beens and Satan himself. My bets are most were there just for the fireworks and couldn't have given a rat's ass about Hannity.

But then I could think of two New Jersey rockers who could draw 10 times that many people...and they're on our side. Cheers to Jon Bon Jovi & Bruce Springsteen!
