A caller to C-SPAN simplified it to the bottom line. |
|
It was such a simple point. But is that the way it has to be to get across to the American people? The caller mentioned that Bush keeps saying America is safer and that we are to trust him to protect our nation. The caller than made the simple point that Bill Clinton was not president on 9/11, neither was Ronald Reagan, or Bush Sr. The president that did not protect us on that day was George W Bush and now we are supposed to trust him to protect us from another terrorist attack?
It was a simple point but just simple enough for the American people to understand. Because, we have to admit, Americans are really simple thinkers. They cannot or either they refuse to indulge in complex thoughts.

How can bunnypants claim we are safer and look into cancelling the election at the same time?
"We are safer but terrorists are going to attack again." What is wrong with that statement?

13. Not only did 9/11 occur on Bush's watch it came 36 days after.... |
|
a warning he got from the CIA that stated planes could be highjacked to be used to crash into buildings including government buildings and in New York.
I'd like to hear one member of the press ask AWOL....
1)Did you read that 8/6/01 CIA warning?
2) What did you do as a result of that warning?
3 years later not one person as asked AWOL those 2 questions. Unreal!

3. My point for the past 3 years...... |

<The president that did not protect us on that day was George W Bush and now we are supposed to trust him to protect us from another terrorist attack?>
The hallmark of Bush's administration has been to blame the other guy. He has never taken personal responsibility for anything since he has become president.
He is a disgrace.

5. Is this the way that Bush should be attacked? |
|
How can we trust him to protect us again when he did not protect us the first time? It was his job. The buck stops with him. He is the commander in chief. It wasn't Bill Clinton's fault.

9. I heard that! The last call of the day is when I tuned it... |
|
and the Black man from Raleigh, South Carolina mirrors my views exactly!
Connie had just read an article about Chicago Sun Times and Newsday..and another paper being in trouble for false reporting their circulation..
He said that he was at the Kerry Edwards rally down there whenever it was and there were 25,000 People there and the paper had reported only 15,000.
He said also.. to all you republicans out there who think bush is going to keep you safer..9/11 happened on his watch..not Clinton's, not george bush the first, not reagun's but bush's and what makes you think it's not going to happen again??..
Oh yeah and he said when Kerry announced Edwards as his running mate he saw ridge out there with his terror alerts and he immediatley thought he was out there to try and steal their thunder(paraphasing). Just like last fall..whenever there is bad news about this admin(sic)..out come the terror alerts.
Doesn't fool this man from S.Carolina and doesn't fool me!!!!!

There were indeed 25,000 at the rally, yet many are saying 15,000.
