Can you spare $5 for John Kerry and John Edwards?

We get over 20,000 visitors to this website every day. If everyone gave $5, we could easily raise $100,000 for the Kerry/Edwards ticket.

Maybe you haven't donated to Kerry/Edwards yet because you don't think you can afford it. Maybe you can't afford $50, but can you spare $5?

Maybe you already donated to Kerry/Edwards, and you weren't planning to donate again. But think about it: You can spare another $5, can't you?

For a campaign that's raising millions of dollars, one $5 donation won't make much difference. But if we all give $5, we can raise thousands and thousands of dollars. By donating together, we can leverage our numbers and have a real impact!

And while you're donating, you can sign up for the Kerry/Edwards email list, and you can sign up to volunteer. Everyone can help out in some way.

You started this a couple of weeks ago and I know I for one have donated through your site. Is DU going to be any sort of force or are we all talk around here? We all know money talks and bullshit walks. Will we contribute enough to become noticed? 8. We had about $3000 in pledges last week for the NY Post auction

Most of them said they would donate through Skinner's page. I'd be curious to know the total. Many people (completely unnecessarily) sent me their replies from the Kerry campaign as evidence of their donation. Thanks to everyone, that was a lot of fun, and your Posts are in the mail!

Can Kerry spend the money he raises after he accepts the nomination? I thought he then had to spend the 75 million.
