Heard this in Tulsa this morning----being pushed on KFAQ.

At 5:30pm conservatives, pro-Bush people will meet at the old lumberyard at 13th and Lewis to 'organize and take back out country."

Laura Bush will be doing a national conference call then to 'fire up the base.'

The caller/organizer said the local democrats had had/will have a 'Bushwhacker ball and a Bushwhacker BarBQ.'

DelGiorno said 'that's just typical of the constant negativity of the democrats; we republicans are fighting an uphill battle to restore civility to the political discourse.'

Motto of KFAQ (radio FAUX affiliate) 'Other stations talk about right versus left; we stand up for RIGHT versus wrong.'

3. Really.....
So, where was this so-called "civility" between 1992 and 2000?? For that matter, where is it when people like Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter open their mouths.

Batch of hypocrites. Can dish it out but can't take it.

5. the evil liberals, democrats
Edited on Tue Jul-13-04 02:55 PM by bobbieinok
The argument from the religious right (which is what DelGiorno pushes) is....

..the majority of the country (varies according to his mood from 60 to 90+ %) believe in 'Biblical truth'

..but they don't vote

..so evil liberal democrats fill up congress and the legislatures and the WH and the state houses and pack the courts with judges who rule against the majority and 'Biblical truth'

..therefore, all churches, minsters, etc must register and vote for decent Americans (ie, republicans)

..so that the 'real, Bible believing, Americans' can 'take back our country from evil' (for M Savage, take back the country from the 'Enemy Within')

THIS IS THE COMMON MIND SET HERE IN OKLAHOMA....and many other parts of the country
