Should Kedwardses vote on GMA prodcedural? |
|
Pugs are saying it reinforces the waffler image if they don't vote on cloture
they're going to ream them either way, so why don't they just vote?
the media will keep asking them both WHY they didn't vote, and HOW they WOULD have voted, anyway, and the issue will stay alive longer than it would if they just voted, wouldn't it?
aren't they screwed either way?
is there any way to turn this to their advantage?

It's a waste of time - they're voting "no". It only really counts if it's a "yes" vote. So you tell me - an irrelevant vote or an extra day of campaigning in a battleground state? Seems like a no-brainer from here!

2. The "procedure" nowadays is to keep them from voting. |

Since Dems are a minority, I don't see how voting on procedure will help--it would just keep Kerry & Ewards from campaigning.
But whatever the pukes decide on cloture, the REAL procedure will be, as usual, to try to keep Kerry & Edwards from voting at all.
Is this a clue as to what pukes plan for the general election?
