just driving around NC and chatting with people there is no where near the support W* had in 2000 here. Why I see 4 times as many Kerry bumper stickers daily as compared to dimson*. 2. Inasmuch as CNN/Gallup had never, ever polled in this state before

and inasmuch as they did "weekend only" polling, which is notoriously inaccurate, I'd say CNN/Gallup should be taken out to the woodshed and flogged.

This poll was propaganda used to discredit Edwards.

Don't forget, the White House doesn't mind picking up the phone and calling some shots at CNN (remember the David Letterman/bored little boy fiasco).
