"You, the elite Massachusetts people with your isolated values."
Santorum right now, complaining that those elite Massachusetts people with their "isolated sense of values" picked the gay marriage fight, not the good people of Omaha and San Antonio....

5. Well What Do You Expect
From a rat faced Nazi who took home a dead child to show his other children.

The man is already beyond the fringe.

28. You know, I dislike talking like a Fake Internet Tough Guy
I'm not one...a Tough Guy, I mean.

I'm just an average dude who will fight if pushed.

And I have simply had it with these kinder and gentler Nazis.

HAD IT!

2. When did Mass become the provincial backwater of the US?
I wish someone would ask Santorum that and watch him stutter over it.

10. For the radical right, Mass has always been the problem
It started in the colonies, and its still here. The battle between the north and the south.

3. Is it cynical to think the RNC is the midst of launching their attack?
Is it too cynical to think gay marriage is this year's Willy Horton? :eyes:

15. You are correct, Sir!
We're going to get hammered on this all year, and when it's not gay marriage, it will be Kerry's "flip-flops".

I'm beginning to get really concerned about the level of hatred and vile spewing that we get every day from talk radio. It's got to have an effect, especially in the red states.

8. The state is so isolated that...
..it keeps electing Republican governors, who then appoint Republican judges, who decide that the state constitution requires that justice be done.

13. Send Santorum to the Granery Burial Ground in Boston
to view the graves of patriots. Then take him down to the waterfront to where the patriots dumped the tea. If it wasn't for the good patriots of Boston, this country would be flying the British flag and Omaha and San Antonio would be part of some other country.

20. Hey, Santorum: WE'RE THE GODDAMN CRADLE OF LIBERTY!
In the 1760's, Massachusetts was ahead of the curve on American liberty and "no taxation without representation." Did the Sons of Liberty have an "isolated sense of values?"

In the 1830's, Massachusetts was ahead of the curve in committing to public education for children. Did Horace Mann, considered to be the Father of American Education, have an "isolated sense of values?"

Throughout the first half of the 19th century, Massachusetts was ahead of the curve on abolition of slavery. Did Frederick Douglass have an "isolated sense of values?"

40 years from now, when gay marriage is recognized in all fifty states, and everyone looks back and wonders why it caused such a ruckus, maybe narrow-minded people like Santorum will reluctantly admit that we were right all along.

When that day comes, they'll say that Massachusetts didn't have an "isolated sense of values." We were just ahead of the curve, just like we've always been.

-MR

22. Did he mention San Antonio by name?
(It's where I grew up) If he did, he's got to be joking. Dallas, maybe, but not the hispanic-majority-usually-liberal-home-of-the-late-Henry-B.-Gonzalez-and-Henry-Cisneros San Antonio.

Yeah, its always us states who are the doorways to international trade, art, education, business and entertainment like California, Massaschussetts and New York who have the "isolated" values :silly:
