Question about the cravenness of journalists
My brother and I were talking today about what pieces of shit American journalists tend to be, and he mentioned that he'd recently read somewhere that several political reporters were asked why they didn't go after Bush in the fall of 2000 with the AWOL, cocaine, drunk driving, business failures stories, etc., and these chickenshits replied something to the effect that they didn't want to unduly affect the outcome of the election. This sounds familiar to me, but I can't place where I read it. Does anyone know about this? Was it at dailyhowler.com? Did Bill Moyers do something about this? Paul Krugman? I'm sure it's true, but it would be nice to put names and faces on this bad behavior.

1. Check the site.
Daily Howler has his own search engine of old posts.
