Do you answer telephone surveys honestly? |
|
Or do you screw with their heads?
I myself would tend to answer honestly, but I recall Arianna Huffington's subversive mission to get people to lie to pollsters so polls become blatantly unreliable.

7. I figure out who they are |
|
then, unless they're dems or greens,I systematically skew the poll. I don't mess with the good guys much, we're usually pretty much in sync anyway. Push pollers I keep on for as long as I possibly can, it's personal. :evilfrown:
Dem & Green campaigners are usually greeted with "you got my money, you got my vote, you go girl(dude) <click>

8. I had a survey once that I didn't know how to answer |
|
The survey was on the racial tolerance image of automobile companies. I am interested in Civil Rights, racial diversity, and related topics but I had never really considered that survey topic. I really only think about cars as a tool for getting from point A to point B. At the time of the survey, I hadn't even gotten my license yet. I didn't watch much television so I wasn't really noting the race of the people on the various car companies' commercials. WE had just bought a car, a car that my husband picked me up from work in on the test drive and we bought it that night shortly before closing so I wasn't sure what race the majority of sales people were at that dealership. I hadn't visited any other dealerships lately either so I wasn't sure which race worked there either. I didn't know who actually worked in various automobile factories either. By the end of the survey, I felt like I must be an out of touch racist. I just answered numbers when they asked me to rate each company on a scale of 1-5. I didn't know whatelse I could do.
