No wonder Bush is driving our nation into the ground
Asked by Bob Woodward how future generations might judge his war in Iraq. Bush said: "History? What do I care? We'll all be dead!"

Perhaps that evil attitude explains why our soldiers are dying, our world reputation is declining, our society is growing more divided, and now our budget deficit is ballooning:

"The government's deficit ballooned to $326.6 billion in the first nine months of the 2004 budget year, according to a snapshot of U.S. balance sheets released Tuesday. That's more than 20 percent larger than the $269.7 billion shortfall for the corresponding period last year. For the current budget year which began Oct. 1, this spending has totaled $1.73 trillion, 6.4 percent more than the same period a year ago. Revenues came to $1.40 trillion, 3.5 percent more than the previous year."

1. Reminds me
Reminds me of Native American wisdom that says basically that all decisions made should be made with the 7th generation to come in mind.

5. NO NO NO...

that's not how shrub thinks.

He believes that WE WILL ALL BE DEAD. That is to say, those of us
not bodily floated into the sky because of our devout belief in Jesus,
will all die in a horrible "end times" Armageddon. That is why saving
the environment is not important, deficits are not important, strategic
alliances are not important... the whole damn future is not important
because they (the born agains reading the "Left Behind" series) don't
think there will be one.

Simple.

6. That sounds good.
I once knew a lady that said why bother to plan trees as you would not be around to see them get tall. I did not know what to say.

9. Great Advice....but.......
Things changed quite abit slower when this philosophy was thought wise. I doubt any of us could see the changes that will occur seven generations away from us, at the rate of change that we see today....

The turkeys just moved in and robbed us of our treasure. This needs to be widely distributed to all our right wing friends and relatives.

8. He believes in the rapture
He believes God told him to strike Saddam and create war in the Mid East.

That's some scary shit.
