I know some are saying they are okay with postponed elections... |
|
But seriously, that is terrible. Who the fuck does this admin think they are? It's SOOOOO FUCKING obvious what they are trying to do, and regardless of if you think it'll be good or bad for the Dems, the very IDEA of them trying to pull this shit is inexcusable. ANd what would postponement do? Provided this "Terror Threat" is real, postponing the election will not change a damned thing. That's my feeling anyway.

1. During the last NYC mayors race |

There was similar talk and a big uproar over it. Personally, I think nothing will come of this. Either way, it is inexcusable.

4. Tell them the Spanish voted their government out because their |

government was caught lying to them when the terrorists hit the trains. The right wingers were telling the Spanish people that it was caused by local Basque separatists. As a result, 60% of Spain! took to the streets in protest, not in unity, as our lying, whore, scum of the Earth press was saying.

5. Someone posted something that made me think twice about this |
|
The poster said that what if there was a terrorist attack on the scale of 9-11-01 in NY again or in California some or similar Democratic stronghold, making it physically impossible for people to vote or making them too afraid to venture out, yet the election went on as scheduled. That could cost Kerry much needed electoral votes and could give * the election.
No, I want as many of our people out in force. I don't want anything to prevent them from voting. If postponing the election would enable our people to get back to normal, so be it.
Now, if they took out Texas, I'm all for going ahead, no postponement.
Anyway, the inaugural would still have to be on January 20. That's mandated by the Constitution.
