Salon article quotes Free Republic!

Salon has a regular "Right Hook" section which analyzes the Right. This week's installment begins with the Drudge-driven Kerry/Edwards homoerotic photo fest.Then come the quotes from Free Republic:

"Maybe its thier way to get the gay votes..."

"Obviously their courting a certain different rainbow coalition not a part of Jesse Jackson. Next thing you know they'll get married in MA then a honeymoon in Frisco."

"Gives a whole new meaning to 'being on the stump'!"

"Have you seen their wives? No wonder they're heavy petting each other."

"'Gays Gone Wild' for prez. Terraayzaa will get tired of watching the forplay and will take action."

"Aha! I suspected they were Russians. Is that a real picture or photoshopped?"

The article goes on to look at F911.

1. Salon was actually one of the first outlets to discuss the Freeper phenome

non; if you search their archives, there's an article called "God Sees the Freepers."

If you can afford to subscribe to Salon, do so; they consistently provide some of the most incisive political coverage, and they're having a tough time of it financially.

As for the actual Freeper quotes, I'm not surprised; they are Freepers, after all.

I do subscribe to Salon and agree with you that it is a great source of news and opinion. Joe Conason - need I say more?

I'll go look up the article on freepers you mention. Do they ever mention DU?
