I am freakin sick of ex-coach/athelete Repub politicians!!!
Turned on CSpan the other night and there was Joe Paterno at a * rally, saying the chimp was the greatest President ever. Tom Osboune, Jim Bunning, Jack Kemp, Steve largent et al. Now Ditka?

You guys made your living with and off the backs of Black people, many who came from the depths of poverty. What did you learn? You exploited them when it was convenient, now you abandon them. Let me see one of you mofo's stand up for civil rights, express your outrage at what happened in Florida in 2000. No, instead you'll march in lock step behind the fascists who would destroy our democracy.

Shame on you. Shame, shame on you sad people.

5. Ditka's A Disgrace To His Roots, Too...
This guy came up in the steel mills of 50's Pennsylvania...grew up in poverty and thanks to his physical abilities got into the University of Pittsburgh on a scholarship and on to fame and fortune.

When he played for old man Halas, he was a virtual labor slave as he had little to no room to negotiate a contract with his owner nor any redress (no union)...he was one of the early fighters for those rights, claiming Halas threw around nickels like manhole covers. Halas responded by trading Ditka to Dallas.

I heard someone discuss the race card factor here...a white vs. black and how Ditka could raise up the racist vote here like Bernie Epton did vs. Harold Washington in 1983. Hopefully we've grown in 20 plus years and Ditka has virtually little popularity outside the very desperate GOOPies in this state who create constant scandals and amusement for the majority Democrats.

As this regime would say..."there's nothing here to see...move along..."

2. Movie stars, sports figures, and idiots....now wonder the US
is in the shape it's in at home and abroad. Qualifications and intelligence don't mean a thing. That's why the 'degree mills' are raking it in. People realize that education doesn't matter and neither does experience...it's your politics that matter. I am convinced that the old education/experience thing is what employers used to side-step Affirmative Action...set the bar high and apply it only when trying to NOT hire someone. Otherwise, how could GW be elected to office making it through Yale on his family name and failing at every business venture he had anything to do with except for poppy's friends who could bail him out? Reagan screwed the country up, Arnie is doing it to CA (they just don't know it yet) BONO..Thompson...Watts...prove to me they were good for the country.
