Why some will vote for Bush
The reason I came to DU was to escape the following. I am a big flight simmer and for years I visted a site dedicated to that hobby. Unfortunately after 9-11 the place became innudated with Freeper wannabe's and Faux News apologists. I hardly ever post there any more because of this. The site itself is very international and pretty liberal but the "Current Affairs" area is swamped by neo-cons. I visited today and look what I found. It is thread about why some will vote for Bush. These people are blind, stupid and brainwashed. Check it out. Feel free to comment if you like at the site. I have but I am sick of arguing with narrow-minded twits.

1. They don't have to physically vote for Bush..
All they have to say is they "would"...vote for Bush.

Only the faithful to Bush will remain after Martial Law is declared. The rest will be incarserated. The election is not going to happen.

2. I just thought that some
of the comments would be hilarious if those people weren't actually saying what they believe. I really think some of those are "true believers." Again it is the reason I came here. You simply can't talk or reason with them. And I hope your martial law prediction is off-base but again this is the first time I have heard any admin talking about cancelling elections; scary stuff!

no one more than me hopes Martial Law is nothing more than a Bush pipe dream. But the signs are all there..

....They've announced elections "may" be cancelled. If you take those words lightly..I don't!

....Bush's secret army sequestered in Iraq amount to 20,000+ mercenaries

....The went to War lying to the American people and so far have gotten away with it..

....They've stolen an election right under our noses..without recrimination

Yeah, I hope I'm wrong too...The real concern is..

what if I'm not?

4. Having trouble just getting through the first response.
When the first sentence is:

"The man is genuine, and has not lied to me on countless numbers of times like the man he is running against."

where do you even begin????

A uniter, not a divider?
Honor and dignitude?

"his boots are dusty"

what the hell is that? This *man won't even walk on dirt.

"Homeland security program (prevents martial law)"

:do we have a 'head exploding' smilie thing?:
