of course they have those figures. No one wants to admit the jobs are part-time with no benefits, or else low paying jobs, or both.
Mankiw wrote the econ book I used in grad school "Principles of Economics".
He's just another shill for Bush.

but why did no one ask "we need 125,000 more jobs created each month just to keep pace with population growth, and in the last 10 months 1.5 million were created, that means 25,000 jobs/month were created over and above that needed for new workers entering the market.
since 2.5 million jobs were lost earlier during bush's administration, are we willing to adhere to economic policies that will require 100 months (8 years) to get the country back to the employment level of 2000?
or, considering that there are 3,142 counties in america, at 25,000/3,142, are the 8 new jobs per county sufficient to make up for the 800 jobs lost per county since bush became president?
even non-economists can use numbers.
