WSJ-DU thread (link below)....IMO, you haven't yet followed up on your homework from that thread: CALL THE KERRY CAMPAIGN, before more is derailed...AND you are not quoting the discussion thread, rather picking pieces out of posts about voter registration laws in Virginia, California, Connecticut, Nevada, and FLORIDA...which were all covered in the discussion....the WSJ writer on DU actually was CALLING FLORIDA....

78. FLORIDA law:
Title IX, Chap. 98, Section 8(a)(b):
(8) A person providing voter registration services for a voter registration agency may not:
(a) Seek to influence an applicant's political preference or party registration;
(b) Display any political preference or party allegiance;
PACs can conduct voter registration drives, as long as when actually registering voters they remain non-partisan. Saying "I'm for Kerry" or "I want to beat Bush" is definitely displaying preference. _________________________________________________________

9th article...called "Great Moments in Democracy"....written for the Wall Street Journal here on DU...
http://www.opinionjournal.com/best/?id=110005343 (the thread was locked at my request....IMO, especially the admitted intimidation of a Florida voter, the rumors spread about Florida workers paid to take time off for elections, and degrading comments about Kerry, Move-on, Democrats, volunteers, the FRENCH...and more warranted that action)....
