The Australian trade deal (C-SPAN) 1
An Australian trade deal is being debated on the floor of the house right now. DU Aussie alert. There's a democrat on the floor saying it dismantles the Australian health care system. David Drier on now saying he glad it's getting bi-partisan support. It also stops re-importation of drugs from the AU to the USA. WHY TO THE DEMS SUPPORT THESE TRADE AGREEMENTS? I'm tired of getting rolled.

1. Rep Tom Allen (D)
Is saying it blocks re-importation of drugs from AU but AU already has a law blocking that. He says the WH is using this bill to set a precendent so they can block drugs coming from Canada using the WTO. BUT he supports it. This SUCKS. Where is Dennis Kuchnich?

3. Sherrod Brown (D) Ohio
On the floor saying it was wrote by the drug industry and it's stops re-importation. David Drier on the floor right now saying it doesn't. He's a liar. It sets a precendent so we can be sued through the WTO. This is why DK is right about pulling out of the WTO and all trade deals. We need to go back to bi-partisian treatys. The WTO can over rule US law. But it has strong bi-partisian support. We just can't win. Where's DK?

5. It just passed in the House.
This trade deal with AU kills re-importation of drugs from Canada. It sets a precendant to sue CA tru the WTO. OH and the price of sugar is going up for comsumers. Since sugar is in everything, EVERYTHING goes up.
