I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF SANTORUM!!!
I live in Pa. How do we get this kook out of office? He is now BEGGING on the senate floor (when we should be trying to keep our country safe) to pass the amendment. This guy is a scary, scary man.

Did anyone hear about the Still born baby him and his wife brought home from the hospital so their other children could "bond" with the dead baby? What a wack job. God help us ALL.

2. I never heard that! Does he include this "still born" baby in his family
pictures? I would not put it past his crooked mind.

11. IT is very true.
As sick as it is. His wife even wrote a book on it.

More info in that link.

The guy is sick.

I am in Pa and I will DO EVERYTHING I CAN to beat this wacko.

I heard Barbara Haffer has switched to Dem to challange him in 2006.

9. Actually, that was a reasonable idea,
depending on how old the other kids were, on the theory you can't say goodbye to anybody you never said hello to. If the kids were toddlers, then yes, he's nuts.

The man obviously has his own personal struggle staying straight and heterosexual. He's not going to win this one, so we can all pity him.

20. Hmmmmm... I never want to look at dead people in their caskets.
I want to say goodbye to what I remember of them. In this case, there was nothing to remember, so why does he want to create memories of a dead baby? It is really sick, I am sorry.

I went to a funeral some time ago... and the funeral attendant came and whispered: when do you want to see her? I did not understand the question... so he repeated it. And I said "NEVER." I don't want to see an empty shell, I have her memory in my heart.

21. He's turned himself into a laughing stock
He's made a total ass of himself and he'll realize it eventually. He'll probably still think he's right, but it will be a bitter pill for him to swallow...and it will frighten' him.

22. I'd like to think you're correct
However, from observing him over the years I don't believe he has even a modicum of self-awareness or perception for this to actually happen.

8. My relatives in PA have to suffer this moron...
I hear horror stories about what a whack job this guy is. From everything I see, PA is becoming quite the little brainwashed republican state. I hear a lot of Limbaugh's dumbed down rhetoric coming from some of my PA friends.

I did hear about that stillborn baby myself. It seems kind of gruesome but grief can do a lot of goofy things to people. That said, the guy is still a fundamentalist nutjob.

in Curt Weldon's district no less.

I heard Judy Rodin might challenge him in '06. I'd love a woman to send that loon back to obscurity where he belongs.

13. It is Haffer that will challange him.
She's got some pretty good name recognition. It is the middle of that state that votes for wackos like Santorum.

You make me feel better about having George Allen and John Warner representing my commonwealth. George Allen is a racist, homophobe, idiot, ad infinitum, but at least he isn't Santorum.

14. My goal, after removing Bush..
Is to use all my strength and energy to defeat Santorum. He is fucking WASTING our time in the senate with his bullshit anti gay tirade.

Santorum is ALSO the asshole that tried to keep that law on the Books in Texas. The law that saied "sodomy is illegal, even in the privacy of your home."

He then went on to compare it to "man on dog." He is a sick fuck.

18. he has a certain je ne sais quoi
oh wait, no he doesn't, I know exactly what it is. santorum always wins the race to the bottom. as soon as anyone brings up a topic about something that doesn't meet his uberchristian liking, he compares it to something like beastiality or communism.

19. He's a Moonie who pretends to be Catholic so he can be elected in Pa.
He has carried water for Moon and his agenda as long as he has been in the Senate.

Santorum sees no harm to the sanctity of marriage when Moon marries complete strangers in mass weddings.

23. I despise Santorum, but ...
... people deal with the death of a stillborn baby differently. Some parents name the baby, some don't, some have family members take turns holding the baby and find it very therapeutic, some don't.

I've never had or lost a child, so I can't say what I would do in a state of grief.

I don't feel I can judge the Santorums on THAT point.

BUT ... on the gay-marriage issue (and pretty much everything else the sancimonious Santorum stands for) ... I despise the man. I'm a Pennsylvanian, too, and can't figure out how this cretin got into the Senate!
