Edited on Wed Jul-14-04 11:35 AM by JHB
Only stands to reason. After all, they already have the FOX Fiction Channel (aka FOX News Network)...

Fox to Start Reality Channel Next Year
Fox Joining Crowded Race to Become Reality TV Headquarters With New Channel Next Year

The Associated Press

NEW YORK July 13, 2004 — Fox is planning to start the Fox Reality Channel early next year, perhaps moving to the front of the suddenly crowded sweepstakes of networks looking to capitalize on the format.
The new network will air a mix of original series and reruns of series like "Joe Millionaire" and "Temptation Island."

1. That will be a nice contrast to the News Channel.
Which contains no reality.

10. the new genre: manufactured reality

"just because it's not your reality doesn't mean that it's not a reality."

4. "Joe Millionaire" and "Temptation Island"
Those wonderful, family-values shows that celebrate loving, committed, monogamous relationships -- as opposed to all those gay people wantin' to get married.

5. Don't forget the "Littlest Groom" or "The Bachelor"
Making the (cue harps) most holy institution of marriage into a game show... kee-ripes... how does the cognitive dissonance not make their heads explode?

6. it makes perfect sense
They want the great unwashed masses to park themselves on their couches and be mindlessly 'entertained' into a permanent state of stupidity, illogic, and inertia. That's the only way they can elect Republicans.

9. Reality Channel? A first for FOX!
As in reply # 1, that was my first thought, also.

Now they can say that they would be "balanced". Faux News on one side, Faux "Reality Channel" on the other.
