Booze twins become media darlings.
Edited on Wed Jul-14-04 02:32 PM by Liberal_Guerilla
Today the future vice President of the U.S. gave a stirring speech in the heartland which the Saud/corporate/military contractor media barely reported on. Yet the Booze twins are all over the media today being pimped out by Daddy Co. as some major achievement on his behalf. The only thing that Bush has contributed to these girls is the Fetal alcohol syndrome that's so evident on their face.

It is amazing to me the sort of treatment that these low brow preppy tramps are getting from this Corporate/State run media. Can you imagine if Chelsea Clinton had ever behaved like these tramps had? She would still be vilified as some immoral floozey. Yet the Booze twins are excused for their behavior and are praised for not having behaved worst than they had. Much like the low expectations treatment that their father gets.

Hey?! He didn't piss his shorts, he won the debate.

1. Yes, it's time to trot out the family so they can help with the election.
I'm sure they got the speech about laying off the booze long enough for daddy to get re-elected. Then their trust funds would be all theirs.

And the Princess Di worshippers out there in TV-land will just lap it up, I'm sure.

19. Sure. My pleasure.
It was just my shorthand way to refer to people who want royalty to lead them. I've noticed that a lot of RWers I know crave dynasties the way British royalty watchers crave royalty. They want the sons/daughters and grandsons/granddaughters to carry on the line and rule them until the end of time.

Right before Bush was (s)elected, a Bush supporter told me, "Oh, I just LOVE his family!" Silly me, I assumed she actually knew or had met some of the Bush family -- and I asked what it was she had loved about the person she met. Of course, she had met none of them -- she was a consumer of the hagiographic stories about the wonderful Bushes -- Babs, the loving matriarch; the kids, who straightened up after some misspent time as youths; you know the drill. She knew nothing about them, but had totally fallen in love with the dynasty idea.

Some of the Kennedy dynasty lovers regrettably also got into the same mode, which to me is a repudiation of democracy and "may the best person win."

2. I've thought that about Chelsea Clinton too
For all the lip service the Republican party and it's members pay to family values, Chelsea Clinton and even Amy Carter are waaaay less messed up that a lot the the Bush (both 1 and 2) kids or the Reagan kids, are or have been.

7. He and his sister have turned out well
But I think they went through their rough, rebellious stages too. If I recall correctly, Patty Davis used to not even speak to her father. And with Ron's political leanings, he's hardly a poster boy for republican family values...he didn't follow his family politically at all.

12. What do you mean?
Way less messed up? Those girls aren't messed up at all, and never were. Chelsea has been a daughter any parent would be proud to have and Amy Carter has been as well. The Bush girls are party animals, and I don't think they will be able to pull off this goody two shoes act for long. The party beckons.

3. Brilliant. george w booze* and the booze* twins.
I don't care who you is, this line is funny (mostly in a sand, ironic way, but also the laugh out loud because although upsetting it's one of those utterances that hits the bullseye)

The only thing that bush* has contributed to these girls is the Fetal alcohol syndrome that's so evident on their face.

but I will not discount the white trash values. It means you flaunt as much cleavage to the public as you can get away with. That makes you something that is precious.

13. Don't be too mean.. they didn't choose their parents..
.. and they have to live with that overhanging brow of the Bush family.. forever. That's a curse right there.

I did find it so, so telling about the Bush's relationship, though. The "girls" were talking about how their mother isn't funny at all, but their Dad thinks everything she does is funny. And that one of the girls tells her mother she's OCD to her face. Not exactly a happy scenario. Sounds to me like Daddy is pretty brutal to Pickles, and I'm sure she lives through his biting "jokes" and one liners he's famous for. The ones that hurt. Sounds like they gang up on her, cuz Dad is just soooo much fun. No wonder Pickles looks as though she's high on thorazine most of time.

14. Thirty one photos on the Yahoo slideshow dedicated to the Bush daughters
Edited on Wed Jul-14-04 03:11 PM by Marianne
a whole slideshow of their own.

Really a cheaply staged event. They know nothing about politics but are used to talk aobut it. They appear in their horrific, ill fitting clothes, and Jenna thinks that in order to talk about politics and campaign for your daddy, you have to show as much cleavage as possible. That makes everything you say, abosolutely credible. :eyes:

Jenna has said how much she loves her dad and it looks like
Barbara does also. so why should we excuse them for not choosing their parents? They have no beef toward the parents. They support and love their parents.

23. Actually, the gentlemen who wrote the expose on Bushevik antics
were murdered by the Anthrax Assassin (nothing to see here, move along)

http://www.cnn.com/2002/US/08/30/anthrax.florida/

I'm guessing the message was well-received ("we can kill you at any time and your murderers are guaranteed to not even be arrested") and you won't find ANYONE with a negative word to say about the Booze Twins.

As a Bushevik might say in private, "Sometimes you have to kill some people to get your point across."

For the media, point taken. Point VERY WELL taken!

In fact, given the current repressive atmosphere, I think the Washington Post's fashion writer has shown some courage in writing a piece that's not a puff.

34. Fetal Alcohol Syndrome would only occur if the mom drank....
while they were in Utero.

I am not sure if the mom in this case was a boozer.

Also, there is a fine distinction between fetal alcohol effect
and fetal alcohol syndrome.

FAS only occurs if the alcohol is consumed during a key brief
period in the pregnancy.

Nonetheless, George Bush is a crook and it's all a bunch of
crony capitalism and war profiteering these days.
