I was checking out Moore's site - they have letters from people around the nation who have seen F-9/11. One was from Wyoming, they said they'd seen it at one of only two theaters showing it in the whole state. Whoa!
This got me wondering about access to this film in rural areas. Then I started thinking about all the folks I know who NEVER go out to the movies and pretty much exclusively watch them on video/dvd. Yes, that's right... PARENTS. (You know who you are!)
Every friend of mine who has young children never goes to the movies. They don't even watch many dvds at home, but if they watch something, that's where they watch it.
So, I sent Moore an email expressing the above as something to consider, but I thought I would put it to DU'ers and see if anyone has any thoughts/info on the subject. Any chance of this puppy getting home-released prior to the election?

...since the movie has generated such huge profits, I was hoping one of the major networks would carry it in prime time! Everyone in America needs to view this film. Can you imagine the impact if they did that? Can you say LANDSLIDE?

Medved said only 6 or 7 million people have seen it. Paula Zahn told him it was by far the biggest documentary in history and it would be enormous when released on DVD.
