Why is the media not telling you Bush is losing Florida?
There are polls that are a dime a dozen showing Kerry beating Bush in Florida. Why has the media ignored this along with many polls showing Kerry leading in Ohio. Could it be that they want to keep the people believing the race could be close? Of course a close race keeps the ratings up. If Bush was leading in CA, you would hear the media reporting this everyday. Heck if Bush loses Florida he is finished, no ifs and's or buts.

6. The fact that we are already accepting a loss in Florida
is completely unacceptable! If they play fair we win. We need to come up with an idea to combat the cheating they obviously plan on taking part in.

7. I was listening to Hannity on the way home from the pool and DeLay was on
and they were going on and on about Bush is going to win Florida. Hannity came out and said, "I am holding Jeb accountable for this one!"

They think the fix is in but I don't think the good voters of Florida are going to let them get away with it this time. Let's see if a week before the election "someone" starts to put flyers on cars about bringing your driving license when you come to vote and if you have an outstanding warrant, you will be arrested signs.

Hannity and DeLay said today that Bush is winning Florida currently and he WILL WIN it in November.

DeLay also said when he sees a national poll he always adds 5-10% for the republicans because, "national polls tend to the inner city and the inner cities are heavily democratic so the national poll numbers always have the republicans running behind by 5-10 percentage points."

It was the funniest excuse I have heard to date as to why Bush is down in the national polls. Who in the hell elected that guy?

9. B/c bush owns half the media.....
OK, so thats a bit far. I'm a radio/tv major, and this year has been really interesting b/c of looking into all the connections Bush makes to hush things up. I doubt thats what is going on here, but hey, you never know.

11. Hi, katym -- welcome to DU! And you're right...
a whole lot of things about Bush get "hushed" up. When you go into media work, you'll do better, I'm sure --

Damn straight. Of course, if things go the way I want them too (fat chance, but what the hell...) then I wont have to worry about hush ups b/c Kerry will be in office. :-D

13. Unfortunately
I think the answer is only too obvious; they're in the toilet for *.
The closer they make the race appear, the more easily it can be stolen. The media has proven over and over again that they do not want a well informed populace. Well informed citizens will not vote for their preferred candidate, *.
