Hannity blows up at caller who said America is NOT a safer place

Hannity was on some rant about how scarey the world is now and how dangerous everything is and Bush is acting ancey (not b/c he is tanking in the polls but because he knows something bad is about to happen to the United States). He went on to state that everyone must vote for Bush b/c he knows how to keep us safe.

So, this guy calls in and he says, "Hey, it's not safer here - it's more DANGEROUS." Hannity acted shocked - like he never heard such a preposterous statement. Hannity was huffing and puffing at this guy saying stuff like - "Oh, so you like Saddam Hussein, etc." They guy said no but now there is a terrorist breeding ground and al quaeda guys can get into the United States over the Mexican border - all the while he ( the caller is getting his flip flops searched for bombs at the airport). Hannity hung up on him. It was great!!

I still amazed at what big liars those jerks are. I tuned in Hannity when I was driving from my job to pick up my kids. I turn it off when the kids are in the car because I don't want them to hear the profanity.

I listen on the drive home from work. Hannity is so incredibly smarmy with his 'you're a great American' and 'let not your heart be troubled' catch phrases. Today he was fluffing himself up for his audience, extolling his bravery at placing himself in the midst of the hateful and dangerous Democratic Convention in order to bring them the 'most accurate' convention coverage. Oooh! Those scarey Democrats! This guy is such a crock!

15. I used to tolerate a good 1/2 hour of Hannity & Colmes

IT was good to see what the wingnuts were saying, and they occasionally had interesting people on -- the Dems on there are usually much better debaters than Alan Colmes ever dreamed of being (but y'all probably knew that already).

Anyway, the last few weeks/months Hannity has shed his thin veneer of sanity and just rants, usually incoherently, like some kind of deranged escapee from a mental hospital.
