at the Dem Convention is way overblown?

Unless Hillary seems upset, I'm not going to worry about it.

I haven't seen a peep about it on the popular media, and certainly nothing from Hillary herself.

6. no, i'm with you
this is something ONLY the rightwingers would make a big deal out of...

see, because her not being there in a big role, kinda ruins their lie that she'll really become the nominee.

Edited on Wed Jul-14-04 06:49 PM by lovedems
it is the republicans who seem to be egging this notion on.

Edited to add: He is also outraged that Dukakis isn't speaking! What a tard.

28. He's also totally outraged that Kerry didn't
pick a woman or black person to run with him. Guess he didn't find it odd that Cheney couldn't find a Republican woman or black person to run with George so he had to pick himself. Tucker is slime.

9. Add me if you're making list. WAY overblown
and intentionally so. The Repub operatives are busy as bees pretending to be outraged lefties.

Hillary will probably speak at some point. She doesn't have to be a featured speaker at every event. Her ego is healthy enough to handle whatever slot she gets.

10. The only ones blowing it are the repukes -
They think it is some kind of advantage to them if she does. Any controversy they can generate to take the focus off the issues and the Dem Candidates is their goal.

14. Hillary, Schmillary.
I love the Senator, but I couldn't care less if she speaks at the convention.

This is just overblown garbage hype by a lazy media still in denial that she wasn't chosen as Kerry's veep nominee.

Nobody gives a crap. Nobody.

15. No, you are not alone
I tire of this belief that if one supports the Dems it means one also worships at the feet of Hillary Clinton. She's a very moderate Democrat in my opinion. I could care less about hearing her speak. I'd rather hear DENNIS KUCINICH speak than hear Hillary.

went on and on today about how this is part of a Clinton conspiracy to undermine Kerry's election so Hillary can run in 2008. Isn't he supposed to be off the mind altering substances?

actually The Secret Evil Mastermind of the Universe.

The RW loves to flog HRC.

If the convention was in NY? Maybe.

But, in the big picture she's just the junior Senator from NY.

33. it's interesting if you really think about it ...
After all, when John Kerry is successful, if he is like most Presidents, he will beging looking to a second term. It is natural. It is also natural to exert a little party discipline on possible 08 rivals.

Could this be some inside, backroom sparring?

36. When I heard about
"outrage" I thought it was the RW who were pissed she wasn't speaking and they wouldn't be able to make fun of her. I thought it was a good move since if she spoke all anyone would be talking about would be AHillary's political future and not Kerry 2004.

Then I hear it's a Dem that's pissed and turning into some womens' issue.

Geez, can't we all get along just until November?

37. Yeah shoot me-I watched some Tweety
GOD I really now despise that guy, anyhoo, he seems to be pushing it, along with O'Lielly,(yes I flip for fun) that PROVES there is a big split in the party and that Hillary really is peeved at Kerry for getting the nomination.

Poppycock. It's just the only negative drivel they can come with. Because there isn't much else, except NADER and he is a real negative drivel.

As Bill Richardson pointed out on Hardlies, Bill Clinton is speaking AND Hillary is going to be with the female group on Monday.

As your "Now that's a letter" post pointed out-there is so much real negative and deceptive things going on by BushCo, but this is all they have to talk about! Wouldn't want any real news to slip out.

As for the outrage around here, I don't know. It's not a Clinton convention this time. It's not Gore. It's Kerry.
