WHO Is Ready To Take The Streets On 11/3? Are YOU?
I personally see a FIGHT coming. It's coming y'all.

Remember the footage in F9/11 of the Inaguration?

YOU.AIN'T.SEEN.SHIT.YET PEOPLE!

put in for your vacation time! you'll NEED IT.

Everywhere is
Freaks and hairies
Dykes and fairies
Tell me where is sanity
Tax the rich
Feed the poor
Till there are no
Rich no more
I'd love to change the world
But I don't know what to do
So I'll leave it up to you
Population
Keeps on breeding
Nation bleeding
Still more feeding, economy
Life is funny
Skies are sunny
Bees make honey
Who needs money, monopoly
I'd love to change the world
But I don't know what to do
So I'll leave it up to you
World pollution
There's no solution
Institution
Electrocution
Just black or white
Rich or poor
Them and us
Stop the war
I'd love to change the world
But I don't know what to do
So I'll leave it up to you

5. Oh, hell yeah.
Of course, according to another post here in GD, democrats are spineless losers with no value whatsoever.

The moron who posted that is misguided and full of shit. And if he thinks dems don't fight, I'd be more than happy to get all up in his face and demonstrate otherwise.

Bring. It. Fucking. On.

:grr:

9. Hopefully, we'll have no reason
to take to the streets. But I will be there if necessary. Every morning I wake up and wonder why there isn't rioting in the streets over what's happening now.

12. General Strike
Edited on Wed Jul-14-04 07:47 PM by kayell
by DOA

This is a song about power,
the power that you and I have in our hands.
The power of the people.
`Cause you know all over this world,
people finally get it together,
get the courage together,
they use the general strike.
It's one of the strongest things they got.
In Eastern Europe, Central America, in North America,
believe it or not,
cause it's power to the people.
Come on!

We're tired, yeah tired of working'
We're tired of working, yeah working for nothing
We all want, what we got coming
All we need is a break
Come on, make no mistake

Everything is not all right
And there's no end in sight
You can call it what you like
Come on, stand up for your rights

(Chorus)
Stand up, stand and unite
It's time for a general strike
Stand up, stand and unite
It's time for a general strike

We been out breaking our backs
Been out working, getting no slack
All week long just paying those bills
That's just the people that still got a job
What about the rest of us - on the soupline

(Chorus)
Stand up, stand and unite
It's time for a general strike
Stand up, stand and unite
It's time for a general strike

Everything is not all right
And there's no end in sight
You can call it wht you like
Come on stand up for your rights

(Chorus)
Stand up, stand and unite
It's time for a general strike
Stand up, stand and unite
It's time for a general strike

13. If they do again what they did in 2000
we should do to Bush what the Serbians did to Milosevic when he tried to steal another election (shut the capitol down). If we don't, my shame of my country will last a lifetime.

15. I've already asked for Nov 1 -3 off
If we have to take to the streets, I just need to know what time should I be there and what should I wear.

Seriously, I have wondered if any contingency plans are being made by local groups if demonstrations are necessary. The State Capital (probably the best place)? The Federal Building in Mpls? Normie Coleman's office? Maybe the DFL state headquarters to try to force the leadership to speak out.

The other thing I want to know is, say they annouce on Oct 29 that the elections are postponed - what's the plan then? Do we hit the streets on the 29th or wait for the 30th?

around Nov. 2-.... could be a while till they would end. If something goes down here in Ohio, which I certainly does not happen, I will do everything I can to protest.

Edited on Wed Jul-14-04 09:04 PM by OnionPatch
My hubby and friends were just talking about how we're about ready to tear some heads off and all we need is to think W stole the election again. You better believe we'll be hitting the streets. I'm not giving my country up to a bunch of crooked right-wingers.

He said that numerous times in the primaries.

He knows that to get things done, you have to take to the streets sometimes.

I suggest coming up with a way to find an alternate means of mass communication or gathering amongst ourselves for strategic and tactical planning.

If I had known the number of people who protested 1/20/01, I would have been out in the street. I had no idea until I saw F9/11. That damn liberal media!
