3. He Reportedly Said it
Edited on Wed Jul-14-04 07:37 PM by GiovanniC
To Palestinian Prime Minister Mahmoud (sp?) Abbas. The WH denied it. Bush said God told him to attack al Qaeda and strike Saddam.

6. It was in the * campaign video
where he called dems crazy (I forget the actual wording) with * morphing into hitler....

It was superimposed over * :

"God told me to strike at Saddam and I did as He asked.." or something along those lines.

Kind of scared me.

20. I think Gawd gave shrub some bad intelligence and it's her fault!
Shrub NEVER makes mistakes like Gawd does! :hangover:

General "Jerry" Boykin testified to the Bush/Gawd ticket being the one thing that placed Bush in the White House! Now I don't know if Boykin will get a reward in heaven, but I do know that since Boykin annointed Shrub he has become the new deputy undersecretary of Defense for intelligence! And I think his office is in Iraq somewhere! He's the Maj. General in charge of Lt. Gen Miller and also the prisons in Iraq! Here is some of the story on Boykin and God!

General Casts War in Religious Terms
The top soldier assigned to track down Bin Laden and Hussein is an evangelical Christian who speaks publicly of 'the army of God.'

Our Religious War

By Crispin Sartwell

The President and his advisors have denied that "the war on terror" is a religious war, trying to distance themselves from the preaching of General and Deputy Under-Secretary of Defense for Intelligence William "Jerry" Boykin. Boykin who had appeared in church in dress uniform, portraying the "war on terror" as a battle of Christians against Satan. He has said "my God is bigger" than Allah, and claimed that George W. Bush "was appointed by God."

You might type "Boykin Taskforce 121" in and do a search on it!

23. It's a perfect out for Bush:

God told me.

I mean who's gonna argue with that logic?

New RNC talking point: Dems hate God as well as America. They criticize Him for Iraq....and on and on and on....

The President, while on a recent visit to Jordan, as Quoted by Haaretz from minutes of the meeting:
Quote:
"God told me to strike at al-Qaeda and I struck them, and then He instructed me to strike at Saddam, which I did, and now I am determined to solve the problem in the Middle East. If you help me, I will act, and if not, the elections will come and I will have to focus on them."

Is that a bad translation or a really frightening quote?

13. My favorite part of that quote is the implication that Bush believes
that his God considers Bush winning the election more important than peace in the Middle East.

18. Let's hope it wasn't Rev. Sun Myung Moon that told him to attack Iraq.
He thinks he's God, and he's a right wing friend of the family.

19. I've always wondered, wasn't God with * during the 911 hearings...?
It seems to me that God, being *'s "co-pilot," would have been with him when * went into to "testify" before the 9/11 commission. So why would he need Dick Cheney too? I mean, does this mean that * had BOTH God AND Cheney with him?

And who helped * more, God or Cheney?

And if God WAS with *, why didn't * "testify" under oath? With God as your "co-pilot," why would you worry about getting caught in a lie?

Just doesn't make sense...

21. Correction
Rev. Moon claims that he is Jesus Christ. God is the father of Jesus according to the New Testament.

I was just wondering about what help * got from his "co-pilot," if any.

24. Hold on a second and consider this
Let's all just say for a moment that maybe * isn't crazy and is actually hearing a voice in his head..........and it is not god, but the embodiment of evil itself. Satan, Lucifer, the reaper whatever posing as the almighty. And Bush is just the patsy bringing on the end times. or maybe bush is the antichrist himself?

hmph I can see I am tired and it is past my bed time. Lack-o-sleep makes me say and think crazy things :)
