The Christo/Fascists have really started to go negative in the campaign and I haven't seen the Kerry folks respond in kind yet. They better get off their ass and do so quickly, or BushCo will end up keeping them on the defensive all the way until the election. We need to go on the OFFENSIVE NOW and PUNCH BACK!! I just saw a Bush ad that basically said, since Kerry didn't vote for the Laci Peterson bill, he doesn't care about dead pregnant women. Unbelievable. We can't just stand around and take this kind of abuse and not respond in kind. I hate dirty politics as much as anybody, but if you don't stand up and fight back, YOU LOSE.....it's as simple as that.

1. Timing is critical in this election year...

and while I would love to see some political bloody noses as much as the next liberal, I have faith in Kerry's judgment to decide when and how to attack. He is quite capable of it, I have heard him vyer diplomatically and carefully, absolutely dissect people who attacked him in the past (He had a radio program in Boston and I listened to it with some frequency). Wait for it, it will come, but again, timing is critical.

You have a great editorial board here; write it, revise it, and shop it! Do you have any ideas?
