If you saw F911, you remember that they only needed the signature of one senator.

Now I see why they're trying so hard to get someone good (relative term here) to run against him.

Other than the balance in the Senate, which is important by itself, it's a huge reason for the repugs to keep a black person out of the Senate.

I know he can't affect this election...but the next...

If Gore had asked, I'm sure there dozens of Senate Dems who would've done so gladly, including Joe Lieberman.
