Why Does The Media Ignore The Kerry Upward Trend
Look at all the polls for the last month or so. A very slow steady climb for Big John

8. The closer they keep it, the easier it is to steal...
The sheeple, well, many cannot even tell which number is greater, so they reply on the talking picture box to tell them.

11. Perhaps The Corporate Media Has Been Cowed By the Right
Perhaps the corporate media has been so intimidated by the right that they don't dare go against the right-wing noise machine and say that the Shrub's chances for a second term are getting worse.

In a way, I hope the corporate media continues to act like weenies. A Kerry victory in spite of the right-wing noise machine and corporate timidity would go a long way towards discrediting those elements who've spent the last twelve years trying to placate right-wing extremists.

13. It is serving well right now
Giving Bush false hope while the campaign grinds him down like a slow moving millstone. better than a quick burn out. We have a long way to go.

Slow to report the actual news, blind to the long term inevitability of a landslide. Why on a Sunday morning show two NY GOP experts were offhandedly mentioning the obvious inevitability of a Kerry landslide in this state. So who will mention that in the details when at one time Bush had some designs on a landslide of his own by taking a big blue or two?

No one. Like a badly, suddenly misjudged Super Bowl matchup the event promoters and Bush rooters won't ever give you the real odds and this is not unusual especially when the odds have switched so drastically away from their "champ" and "favorite". Also, why bother trying to alarm people with the dramatic buildup to a Kerry blowout? They should later if this illusion goes too close to the election so that the cheating will be forced back into its hole.
