Bush can't physically stand to be behind in the polls....and will crack... |
|
...They call him decisive. Better words are impetuous and impatient. And he will say something rash or do something irrational or violent to compensate for the inadequacy of being behind the liberal, Kerry. Watch him disintegrate in the next week or two. It will be like watching a 12 car pile-up on black ice...(Impetuous, not decisive)

Some pundits thought the reason Gore stood up during one of the debates and hovered near Bush in the hope that Bush was crack and it would have been all over in 2000, but alas...

4. He certainly is in a bizarre place right now. |
|
It's pathetic the way he personally attacks Kerry now. Usually an incumbent president would never do such a thing, and most wouldn't have to.
And the attacks are laughably weak. If that's the best they've got, "voted against our troops", they are in for a world of hurt.
I can't wait for Kerry to start talking about funding for veterans--then we'll see who really supports our troops!

6. Surely the fact Bush is trailing cannot forever be kept from the Monster. |
|
As surely as the Sun will rise in the morning, Bush will find out...unless he was informed already and rejects it as nonsense.
His ass kissers will contend with:
"Doncha worry Mr President, we will stomp on the Kerry guys, they ain't nuthin and they ain't gonna."

7. that's why they keep him insulated by establishing the protest zones |
|
so far from his actual location. If he gets close to people they might piss him off - like the guys in PA the other day displayihg the 'More Trees Less Bush' poster, which caused bush's f-finger to linger (kudos to the songwriter on the Al Franken Show).
He's a loose, clattering cannon.

that * is out of control and immature like a child, and that the reason he is so heavily handled is because he may freak out at any moment if the pressure builds. Recently, though, I've wondered if he's just as dumb as a post, and will never react to anything because he doesn't understand anything. According to his limited capacity to understand events around him, everything is going just great. He's a legend in his own mind.:freak:

12. I've been having similar thoughts |
|
If he gets angry during the debate, he can't say "We're moving on. Stretch, do you have a question?"
He has two modes: monologue of the same talking points or hostility towards whoever is talking with him. Neither will fly.

14. They probably expected |
|
Edited on Thu Jul-15-04 01:18 AM by fujiyama
to be up by 10-15 points in national polls, and have leads in PA and FL. Instead they're down in both those states.
Instead they're barely leading in AR, MO...and even NC and VA are getting close.
I would expect some kind of "event" to distract the public from the DNC and direct media attention away from it.
