23. My comment: In my experience ATHEISTS are the best "Real People"

I have met. And I refer to "Real People" as a person who is generous, non judgmental, and has a thirst for scientific, philosophical knowledge.
None of the atheists I know want to kill people for their religion, or impose their dogmas on somebody else, or try to proselytize.
My husband is an atheist: he is the most generous, kind soul I have ever met. And he does it because it is the right thing to do, not because a "higher power" tells him.

.... I'm a big fan of Ms. Ivins though she is a bit moderate sometimes IMHO.

But I feel a little sick after watching that. Where do all these hateful, stupid people come from?

She was way too nice to most of them. I felt so sorry for her having to listen to all that abuse.
