URGENT: Please write the Sun-Times about misleading headline!
Edited on Thu Jul-15-04 09:14 AM by wndycty
This is disgusting. It is implied that the quote at the top of the page was made by Hillary but it WAS NOT! You will notice it was not attributed to anyone. It was made by the former head of the New York Democratic Party, not Hillary! This is a blatant attempt to make Hillary look bad and to steal Obama's thunder. Please write the Sun-Times at letters@suntimes.com.

2. Ah, yes. The always-useful "They."
What "they're" saying about Hillary? How convenient.

I'm writing my congressman. I propose a new bill outlawing the use of pronouns in all front page headlines. No hes, no shes, no theys. Violations punishable by death.

4. done.
You've got to be kidding me. No one is upset about Hillary not speaking at the Democratic Convention except the REPUBLICANS. Her husband is speaking, our elected President, Al Gore, is speaking and other important Democrats like Barak Obama are speaking. WHY would we Democrats be up in arms about Hillary not speaking? Please stop furthering the RW hysterical LIES. You do look foolish when doing so. You have your Headline in quotes with a picture of Hillary. Are you trying, in your oh, so subtle way, to insinuate that Hillary made that statement? If so, you're wrong and are being misleading. It was made by the former head of the New York Democratic Party, not Hillary. However, I expect nothing more from a Newspaper that employs Robert Novak.

Kind Regards,
********

14. Well, I didn't read it that way
The sub-heading makes it difficult for me to interpret it the way you are reading it.
