Is Civil War Now Breaking Out In Iraq?
MSNBC: Allawi Creates Iraq Anti-Terror Force

The new service, the General Security Directorate, "will annihilate those terrorist groups, God willing," Allawi said during a news conference.

Looks to me like this thing is now ratcheting up another few notches.

4. The media is not covering how badly the situation is deteriorating
there were 5 soldiers killed last weekend in the same incident and it barely got any mention except in passing.

Oh, but don't forget, they have running water and electricity and they painted the schools.

7. Well they have
electricity about 4-5 hours a day and they never know when: could be noon, could be middle of the night, could be 6:54 pm. Who knows?

And they can't walk the streets freely out of fear of death or kidnapping.

5. Well, they're "liberated". Mission accomplished.
Bush can pat himself on the back and say, "What a good boy am I".

6. The Ambassador fo Death, Eichmann Negroponte is behind this
A lot of people, both innocent and gulty are going to perish.

That's the way men like Eichmann and Negroponte operate...

8. that's what i said to myself
when i heard this morning about the new death squads, i mean security forces, that are going out to deal with the 'insurgents.'

translation: mercs, spooks, and convicts from other countries teaching iraqis how to be quiet, get tortured, and watch their country sold off one piece at a time.

12. Speaking of Negroponte
I saw him on Tweety last night and almost fell off the couch as he smugly praised Negroponte, saying what a good friend he was and they used to work together, and what a good choice he was ...blah blah

AND THIS GUY IS KERRY'S FOREIGN AFFAIRS ADVISOR? PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ME I AM DREAMING?

10. I think they will align with one another to drive us out first
After that, they'll hash it out all out among themselves, probably in a civil war.

13. No, not really.
This isn't the much ballyhooed "sectarian bloodbath" which defenders of a continued US presence told us to expect. It's the US puppet making a great noise about asserting its "authority."

15. First Martial Law, Second a Secret Police
Think about it, here is a government we created that began by declaring martial law in its first week of existance and now (what is it, the third week?) has created its own Secrete Police. How long do you really think a country with that sort of start can endure? I'd bet the current government doesn't see the end of next month.
