Why is there such a big deal about Hillary not speaking at the convention?
I mean, it's not like our entire party revolves around that one woman, as much as the Freepers think it does. It's one thing to complain about the lack of woman speakers, but why does it HAVE to be her? This is one of the most blatant manufacturings of a non-story I've ever seen.

Honestly, after that "we're going to take things away from you for the common good" quote, I don't see why she'd be pushed. We can't risk any gaffes like that at the convention.

1. It is NOT a big deal...
Junior senator from New York....

Her husband, a former President for fuck's sake, is going to speak.

It's just a big circle jerk by the RW and the media whores.

4. Read about how Wolf Blitzer got the smackdown this a.m.
on this by an email he read aloud from Hillary's press secretary.

He asked Wolf and CNN to stop spreading the lie that Hillary was irked about the Convention line-up:

7. The latest Rove Script
Repeat after me: "The Dems are all pissed off that Hillary Clinton is NOT ALLOWED to speak at the Dem Convention." This should drive the Dems into a rage and they will start eating each other.

There tactics are becoming so obvious that we could voice their words immediately after receiving the latest Drudge, Limbaugh, Leslie, Hannity, O'Reilly, poop-of-the-day.

10. Open up the slap room!
I'm not a violent person, but I'd like to have Rove in a room and slap the living shit out of him.

Ken Starr too.

6. The Republicans are desperately trying to plant some kind of discord
that will resonate. So far they've been unsuccessful. I truly am perplexed as to why they think THIS one is going to do it.

8. There isn't a big deal - totally manufactured by the whores
or if not manufactured, at least disseminated.

Gee, who would want to start a whispering campaign to divert / distract Democrats?

Hmmmm.....

11. There Isn't.
They just would rather that we think so than, say, pay attention to the news about little boys being ass-raped at Abu Gharaib.

12. Because repblicans hate her! They were hoping she would...
speak and then they could pounce all over her. You know O'Reilly would. The republicans probably already had dozens of staffers preparing to destroy any speech she gave. She galvinizes republicans and the democrats have now circumvented any milage the republicans could have gained from her speaking.

16. if she was going to speak
it would still be a big deal, with anti-dems demonizing the Clinton Admin and trying to tie it to Kerry/Edwards. I just don't think there is anyway to win this one...

17. They are completely ignoring how many women and minorities
will actually be speaking in prime time and not in prime time, instead of the GOP convention that places the women and minorities in prime time only to give the impression the GOP is multi-cultural.

This is a non-issue. If Hillary ain't upset, neither am I. In fact, I wouldn't be upset even if she was. It is more important Obama gets to speak.

18. I blame the media nincompoops
When they can dig up any tiny scrap of fresh bad news about Hillary they run it wall-to-wall, 24/7. It makes me so mad I would just love to snap their skinny little chicken necks.
