1. Let's hope they keep him.
You are correct in that he is a huge liability if the dems play it right.

3. Bush can't "dump" Cheney
any easier than I could fire MY boss. I think the "dump" option creates more trouble for them since it can't happen.

9. He Can't Dump Cheney
Edited on Thu Jul-15-04 03:00 PM by ThomWV
I really don't know which block to hit on this one.

I'd love to see Cheney suffer the humiliation of being tossed out on his ass (even if they do use his heart as an excuse).

I'd like the Republicans to have to hold onto the liability he has become.

Still, I know deep in my heart that when the puppet master dies the puppet show ends. Where would Bush be without Cheney? Would Poppy have to actually move into the White House?

On Edit: The name Cheney should be added to the dictionary for the spell checker.

11. either way - bush* is "cheneyed"
if he dumps Cheney -- that's a waaaayyy big flip-flop and brings his loyalties into question, plus it drives away the far-right wingnuts that will only vote for bush* because cheney is on the ticket

if he keeps Cheney -- it will drive away the moderates who are at best apprehensive about Cheney's rightwing-foam-at-the-sneer demeaner

12. Please don't dump Cheney
We want the repub party to crash and burn with both Cheney and Bu$h. Take down as many repub senators/reps as possible too.

17. I would really like to see him shitcanned.
Simply because so many in the Smirky inner circle have declared he is definitely going to stay. This would put them in disarray and label them flip-floppers for sure.
