George W Bush firmly believes in the power of negative ads...
They worked for his father against Dukakis and they have worked in every campaign he has ever been involved with. So why should this election be any different? It's hard to turn on the TV without seeing Bush badmouth John Kerry with one of his negative ads. He is clinging to them like they were the last straw in the ocean.

2. It's classic Rove
When in doubt go negative and lie if you have to. Rove and * couldn't run a clean campaign for the life of them.

3. That's all he's got
He hasn't a record of anything to run on, just lies, no domestic policies ro crow about, only tax cuts for the wealthy. No health plan, nothing for american children, seniors, workers, nothing zilch, zip, nada.

5. It will not be any different.
It's the power of media - and works VERY well psychologically!
It's about the information people will grasp along the way to their work / from the couch on the tv etc. etc.
it's information with parts of the truth / or the truth or twisted in a way that 'investigation' is lowered to a level of 'not necessary' AND most people don't have the time to find out whether it's true or not - or what's the reverse side of the coin.

So it works wonderfully, the bad things people ALWAYS tend to remember pefectly!!!!!!!! - it's an AWESOME conditioning system.

Try this out for example: Tell your co-worker that you think your boss hit is wife last week, or that he's really a guy that's capable of doing something like that. You changed your co-workers view of your boss FOREVER! and he will tell others along the road etc. etc.

So you nicely burned your boss for something he never done just with a basic tactic.
