What the hell kind of "Homeland Security" is that! I live about 30 miles from the plant...downwind. I want to know what the hell these people were doing for 3 months and why people were not alerted.Why didn't they shut that plant down? What is GWB doing about nuclear security at home?
PS. They found the missing rods yesterday...right where they were supposed to be. :eyes:

That one in the bathroom kept me nice and toasty after my showers. :evilgrin:

.......(I took quite a few, after all, how often does one get to go into an actual nuke plant!) and it seems it was the guys from DHS that helped me carry them to my car and tie them to the roof. They were even nice enough to give me a handful of those plastic handcuff thingys to tie them down with. :hi:

Apparently they found them in the pool with all the others. I'm wondering what they were doing for 3 months...saying prayers to St. Francis?

During that time they had searched the containment pools twice, and both times they missed the rods. Third try was a charm.
For me, the question is, why didn't they find them the first two times they looked? Maybe they need to redesign those containment pools so the rods don't move around or something.
