I believe Repubs will eventually regret stolen election/Chimp's selection |
|
I think they think they "got away" with it all -- and they did -- to a point. But my gut instinct is that, in the long run, the law of unintended consequences will come back to bite them in their pastey white behinds. They have united Democrats, liberals, progressives and moderates like never before. They did not count on the Internet's reach to circumvent their propaganda. They have driven us to connect and organize as never before. They will be sorry.

say bye bye to the internet. They will find some way to ban this type of communication.

...but they will never be sorry.
Real contrition requires a sincere desire to amend one's life; i.e. a committment not to do again the sin in question.
And I don't believe for a second that Junta Boy and his owners and handlers are capable of that.

I Think They Are ALREADY Sorry! |

Some of the recent Supreme Court decisions show that several Justices are suffering from Buyer's (Seller's?) Remorse. Well, they can run, but they can't hide.
And when the chickens come home to roost, what will remain of the GOP? Perhaps McCain, Snowe, and Hagel. Anyone else is likely to go down the tubes with their Fearless Leaders, and rightly so. We are seeing the Gotterdamerung of the Grand Old Party.

They thought the Republicans wouldn't get over it if they ruled right. So they gave in to the child who was acting like a baby at the time. They didn't realize that the Democrats would never "get over it"
They gambled and lost.

6. The one's who actually have consciences already do. |

Unfortunately, those are not necessarily the ones in power. On the bright side every day, there seem to be former * supporters from all walks of life who see reccognize the enormous folly of his empowerment.
The most recent one was the Neocon who said he would vote for Kerry posted earlier today. He had a Japanese name that began with an "F" (sorry I'm horrble at cross referencing links).
I feel the deserters from the right in many cases have far more power and influence on the right in such a divided nation. That's why I always pay attention to writings of people like Kevin Phillips and John Dean. They have a chance of getting through to the types of conservatives that would never dream of going to F911.
I think were seeing a sea change here. . .or at least I hope.

9. supporting Bush is a losing proposition |

if they had half a brain (and they don't) they would have already dumped him.
Fortunately they are like lemmings and they're all going over the cliff.
Buh Bye!
