since this prison abuse scandal we very seldom ever see num nuts anymore,i guess the gop wants to keep him out of sight. like they say, outta sight,outta mind. just seems strange to me,that he was indeed the face of the war, and now you never see him. what a piece of sh*t

Seriously though they've been aware of all these "sodomy stories" since April. It's been on the net and all over the European presses for the last 2-3 weeks, which is just as long as F911 has been out. With Hersh's recent comments to the ACLU it sounds as though the "sodomy stories" are about to finally be exposed.

I've a strange sense that it might be Rumsfeld is about to step down, especially after several days of speculation regarding Cheney. Tenet wasn't enough of a fall guy. He may have been reponsible for the bogus intel (even though we know Cheney coerced it), but ultimately prison abuse of POW's is the responsibility of the DOD, even if "contractors" (aka mercenaries hired by Cheney) conducted it.

It's such a snakes nest. So many scandals. . .so little time.

I've been wondering the same thing myself. Where's RumsFailed? The only time he splashed out into the media was right after the Abu Ghraib prison scandal. Mr. Celebrity was seen jumping out of a helicopter and brazenly trotting towards the prison. He said, "I'm a survivor, myself". How precious.

After that, however, he seems to have gone underground. The guy is usually out there in the media, causing anger and consternation whenever he opens his mouth.

I have read that they were going to quietly get rid of him at the end of June, from quiet urging by other leaders around the world. They felt that he had become radioactive from the abuse scandal.

Notice, he hasn't been making any foreign trips, either. RumsFool is just --- hiding out.
