Morgan Fairchild on Scarboy Country: SMACKDOWN!

MSNBC, Joe Scarborough got eased and slapped into so many corners he came out looking like an old dust bunny. Right off the bat Morgan Fairchild (sigh) had the dead intern guy saying he was "not upset about" the Reagan mini-series, which was nominated for 7 Emmy Awards today, really backing off after she gave lucid answers about artistic expression, freedom of speech, etc. The look on his face was almost worth putting up with David Drier, another guest, and Scarboy. He quickly went to "Americans think" or "some people say", rather than get his own skinny butt stomped on.

Then she was in a segment on "Will women bury Bush?". Despite Scarboy's clumsy and rude hosting, she was excellent in framing Joe's talking points in issues and facts that left him fighting himself not to agree with her.

First thirty mins are worth a look, left time zones and re-runners.

i read an interview with her in Entertainment Weekly (don't laugh, it came free w/ a DVD purchase at Best Buy) and she was actually quite articulate and occasionally WITTY

I've been getting it for years. It takes about 45 minutes to read everything you'd want to read, and you're up on everything in the world of entertainment ... including books. The headlines are hilarious (very literate puns) ... and the "Hot Sheet" and the little TV reviews are incredibly sarcastic -- what a hoot!

So you needn't hide that copy from me -- display it proudly. I look forward to Fridays when it's in my mailbox!
