Poll question: Who's lying? Dennis Kucinich or Peter Camejo? |
|
AMY GOODMAN: Finally, Congressman Kucinich, we had Peter Camejo, the vice-presidential runningmate of Ralph Nader, Independent presidential candidate, on the line. He said, "Dennis Kucinich told me John Kerry is a fake and a fraud when we had a private meeting. He said but I'm sorry, Dennis, I'm going to go public with that because I think it's horrendous that you now think he's a terrific guy when you don't believe it." What is your response?
REP. DENNIS KUCINICH: I'm sorry to hear that my good friend Peter Camejo would want to get to that depth of-- sink to those depths. You know, I never said that. It is not my approach in life to disparage people, even those people with whom I have the strongest disagreement, such as George Bush. You know, I haven't disparaged George Bush personally during this campaign. And I certainly haven't doesn't it to John Kerry. So, I'm sorry -- I have no idea why he would say that. But it never happened. http://www.democracynow.org/article.pl?sid=04/07/14/1410234

2. Kucinich is a class act |
|
I don't really recall him badmouthing anyone during the primaries. Not even Bush.
The closest he came was the radio debate where he brought a pie graph visual. Asked why he brought this to a debate, he said it was so Gov. Dean could see it.
Sad to see Camejo sink to Nader's level.

3. Dennis would NEVER say that. Nader wouldn't even say that about Kerry. |

Guess Camejo is unaware that John Kerry has investigated and exposed more government corruption than any lawmaker in modern history. Kucinich and Nader both know it and know Kerry is NO FRAUD. A fraud wouldn't work for 6 years uncovering BCCI and IranContra or the illegal wars in Central America while being targeted by the DC powerstructures and their media whores.
Now I wonder exactly who Camejo is. He did spearhead the Dump Davis movement in California, knowing that the GOP was the beneficiary. Of course, the energy companies that Davis was suing certainly benefitted from his ouster, too, didn't they?
Now he lies about Kucinich right before the Dem convention? A smooth talking stealth Green?

6. you are right, i am in california |
|
dennis kucinich didn't even criticize kerry on policy issues much during the primary even though there were some disagreements. i KNOW he would never attack kerry personally in such a way as camejo claims.

8. Kucinich may have said it |

but if it was in private, it should have stayed that way. Camejo should not spread gossip.

|
assuming it was said it was in private. although i don't believe kucinich did say it. but camejo saying it in public whether it's true or not is probably worse.

11. If Kucinich won't even call Bush a liar-- |
|
--he is certainly not going to call Kerry a fraud. Interviewers worked hard to get him to do that, too. What he always stuck to was that the Iraq war was based on lies--he refused to call any particular person a liar.

15. Camejo & Nader - two of a kind |
|
Sorry, but when you're helping the GOP to continue their quest for one-party rule, who gives a Cheney WHAT you have to say?
:puke:
And icing on the cake - he helped oust Davis in CA while the energy stuff was going down. This guy's sickening... just sickening.
