Here's a juicy tidbit Bernie Ward just mentioned... |

If an Iraqi policeman is killed, his family recieves a large lump sum payout AND a pension for life...funded by...U and I! Bernie also mentioned that Richard (Uncle Fester) Armitage, asst. Sec. of Defense was in both Islamabad and New Delhi today and says he is not requesting that Pakistan or India send troops to Iraq because both are opposed to the occupation! IMAGINE THAT! :wtf:

They tend to hate all forms of "entitlements" and government spending on healthcare, pensions, benefits of any kind.
It must make them squirm to know that we're spending all this to better the lives of Iraqis, when they can't stand to spend it in the USA.
The argument has lots of ironic angles.
