Let's examine the Right Wingnut AllStars, shall we?
Gov. Roland (CT) - bribery
Senate Candidate Joe (public sex) Ryan (IL)
Rep. Tom Delay (TX) - fraud and elction rigging
Jerry Falwell (preacher) - gays and feminists are responsible for 9-11
Pat Robertson (preacher and diamond miner extrodinaire) praying for Supreme Court Justices health, in a non-Christian way
Joe Scarborough (former FL rep and hate talk show host) - questionable death of his secretary

I know I missed a bunch like Arnold the Gropenator, Newt the divorce you cancer stricken wife to marry an aide, and on, and on..

Please add your personal favorites! LOL Aren't these guys the epitomy of family values?

You're right...that "I had more important things to do" business...when you're a superhawk...is deplorable. Reeks of hypocrisy.

27. ralph reed supports GAMBLING
When Ralph Reed was the boyish director of the Christian Coalition, he made opposition to gambling a major plank in his "family values" agenda, calling gambling "a cancer on the American body politic" that was "stealing food from the mouths of children." But now, a broad federal investigation into lobbying abuses connected to gambling on Indian reservations has unearthed evidence that Reed has been surreptitiously working for an Indian tribe with a large casino it sought to protect--and that Reed was paid with funds laundered through two firms to try to keep his lucrative involvement secret. Reed has always operated behind the scenes, and apparently he didn't want to risk becoming a humbled hypocrite like his right-wing cohorts William Bennett and Rush Limbaugh.

News accounts of the emerging scandal have focused on the two main figures under investigation: lawyer/lobbyist Jack Abramoff and Mike Scanlon, House GOP majority leader Tom DeLay's former spokesman and head of two campaign and public relations companies. But Reed has managed to slither below the media's radar--until now.

Neither he, Abramoff or Scanlon returned phone calls

37. You forgot something about Pat Roberson.
Pat Robertson- Suggested that the State Department should be destroyed by a nuclear bomb.

"I read your book. When you get through, you (a reader) say, 'If I could just get a nuclear device inside Foggy Bottom, I think that's the answer.' I mean, you get through this, and you say, 'We've got to blow that thing up.' I mean, is it as bad as you say?" - Pat Robertson

http://www.atheists.org/flash.line/robert12.htm

I'm sure John Ashcroft will arrest and detain Pat Robertson sometime soon. Yeah, right.

38. Takes too long...
My personal list has 339 names on it...oops..340..added another one today. Too lazy to post them all, but here are a few you may not heard of:

U.S. Congressman Jim Ryun
Ryun has cozy ties to Westar Energy and Western Resources, whose former CEO has been convicted of conspiracy and money laundering. His election opponent (Boyda) is also pointing out Ryun's vote in favor of a $254 million tax break for Enron.

Judy Price
Union County, North Carolina, Register of Deeds Judy Price has been embezzling money from the county for at least a decade. The 57 year-old Republican is also on the hook for obstruction of justice for lying to State Bureau of Investigation agents.

Sen. James M. Inhofe, (R-Okla)
(Sen. James) Inhofe blocked all pending Clinton administration nominations because he was upset over the June 4 recess appointment of openly gay philanthropist James Hormel as ambassador to Luxembourg. Inhofe attacked the appointment with a blistering statement...The battle for Hormel's confirmation sometimes took unfortunate turns as right-wing senators took extreme and erratic stances to justify their anti-gay discrimination, according to HRC. In an earlier issue of Roll Call, Inhofe compared Hormel to former Ku Klux Klan Grand Wizard David Duke.

OK. Heh, heh, heh...wait for it.....Inhofe’s hypocrisy was put on full display as several of Inhofe’s aides were discovered to have downloaded large quantities of pornography off the Internet, according to the Human Rights Campaign.

Michael D. Sanford
Michael D. Stanford was a director of a for-profit charter school in Jacksonville a couple of years ago. Stanford landed the job with The Crossroads School despite the state having shut down his own for-profit charter in 2000 for financial mismanagement and a 2001 arrest for child abuse. This is nothing out of the ordinary for Stanford. He was canned from a home for troubled children in 1996 after authorities caught him "co-mingling" funds. ...Stanford's employer is buddies with Gov. Jeb Bush and...

James Dobson
Founder of “Focus On the Family” radio empire claims to be "independent". However, on Larry King he called for the Congress to impeach President Bill Clinton. He said, "Republicans have to listen to their base". In other words, ignore the law and impeach him on purely partisan grounds. In the same interview he also refused to condemn any Republican, only Democrat Bill Clinton. When Larry King asked him to condemn Bob Barr's speech to a white supremacist group Mr. Dobson refused. Republicans can do whatever they want in Mr. Dobson's partisan mind, only Democrats must obey the Bible!

Roger Hedgecock
Roger Hedgecock a right-wing conservative family values kinda guy, has been a popular San Diego talk-show host for more than 17 years, But he’s also a former San Diego mayor who was convicted in the 1980s of conspiracy and 12 counts of perjury over failure to report more than $350,000 in campaign contributions. Forced to resign as mayor in December 1985 after his felony conviction, Hedgecock found radio.

Kevin Ross
When Kevin Ross was re-elected Maricopa County (AZ) Assessor in 2000...A state grand jury (27 May 2004) has now indicted Ross on two felony charges (both conflicts of interest for a public officer), claiming Ross gave Gary Graham of Colonial Mortgage Co. a confidential digital spreadsheet listing of 15,000 names and addresses of elderly taxpayers who qualified for a special tax relief. . The company would mail reverse mortgage solicitations to those named, and Ross would receive a commission for successful agreements! Neat!
An attempt at cover-up earned Ross a third felony charge of obstructing a criminal investigation. Mayor Steve Berman, a close friend, neighbor, Republican Party confidant to Ross, called Ross the "epitome of straight." (Of course he did! Wonder what he said about Clinton and Whitewater, Gary Condit, Oliver North, Richard Nixon…?)
